They are debris-flow-dominated alluvial fan, stream-flow-dominated alluvial fan, lake and overbank. The first includes matrix-supported gravel facies (Gms) and massive muddy sand facies (Sms). The second consists of  unstratified to crudely stratified facies (Gm), plannar cross-bedded facies (Gp), through cross-bedded facies (Gt), and clast-supported  gravel/conglomerate and trough cross-bedded facies (St). The third comprises red to purple massive mud facies (Fm) and yellow to greenish mud, interlayering with sand layers facies (Fsc). The forth  includes  matrix-free massive sand/sandstone facies (Sm) and laminated khaki mud facies (Fl). The quantitative summary of these facies emphasizes a periodic deposition in a semi-arid setting and ephemeral rainy conditions of deposition with dominance of low energy. Fluctuation in rainfall caused periodic change of the base level, which were reflected both in lacustrine deposits and in the deposits produced by the alluvial systems, particularly in the distal fan. <strong> </strong>   <strong> </strong> در رسوبات عهد حاضر جنوب شرق اصفهان مجموعه های رخساره‌ای نهشته های جریانی خرده‌دار(deposits (debris-flow، جریانی رودخانه‌ای(stream–flow deposits) ، دریاچه‌ای(depoits (lake و حاشیه ای رودخانه‌ای(overbank deposits)  قابل تفکیک می‌باشند. نهشته های جریانی خرده‌دار را دو رخساره گراولی (Gms) و ماسه گلی توده‌ای (Sms) تشکیل می‌دهند. نهشته های جریانی رودخانه‌ای را چهار رخساره گراولی/ کنگلومرائی بدون لایه بندی تا با لایه‌بندی ضعیف ((Gm، مورب مسطح (Gp) و مورب عدسی  (Gt)   و ماسه سنگ با طبقه‌بندی مورب عدسی (St) شامل می شوند . نهشته های دریاچه‌ای را دو رخساره گل توده‌ای نارنجی تا قرمز رنگ (Fm) و گل متمایل به سبز تا زرد رنگ بابین لایه‌های ماسه‌ای (Fsc) تشکیل می‌دهند.  نهشته های حاشیه ای رودخانه‌ای شامل دو رخساره گل خاکی رنگ با یین لایه‌های ماسه و گراول (FL) و ماسه‌ای توده‌ای بدون ماتریکس (Sm) می‌باشند. از ویژگی‌های این رخساره‌ها،  نهشته شدن دوره ای رسوبات در شرایط آب و هوائی نیمه خشک و مرطوب موقت با غلبه انرژی کم را می باشد. تغییرات دوره‌ای در ریزش های جوی باعث تغییرات  در سطح آب دریاچه گاوخونی شده که انعکاس آن در نهشته‌های دریاچه‌ای و آبرفتی مخصوصاً در بخش انتهایی مخروط‌افکنه‌ها قابل مشاهده است.   https://jssr.ui.ac.ir/article_16698_3b2edf302327813506fa1476181be311.pdf
