These sections were situated in the East of Kopeh-Dagh Basin.In this study 22 nannoplankton species of 15 genera in Kalat section and 20 species of 14 genera in Mozduran section were identified. According to the last occurrence of index species and fossil assemblages calcareous nannofossil biozone (CC5) of Sissingh (1977) has been recognized .
